to hide behind a Bible like that—that makes me angrier than anything else for some reason—like to pretend that somebody pursuing truth when their friend is assassinated is some kind of an immorality or quote-unquote evil makes me sick. It literally makes me sick. I just—the nerve of these people, the things that they did. But I will respect them in one regard: they knew that the first thing they had to do was—when I was in my grief stage—was to try to pretend I didn’t even have a relationship because they knew that I would be the one. They knew I was the anomaly. They knew I had already said, “F the money.” They knew I had already said, “F the reputation.” I don’t care about the headlines.
