And it’s easier to appease people who are billionaires than to build a grassroots movement. That’s what Turning Point USA was. It’s not anymore, clearly, but it was a grassroots organization. That was the pitch. That was why I worked for them. The idea that you could get on the ground when nobody knew us, nobody knew me and Charlie, and we could get on stage and we could convince people of what we believed in. Every conversation mattered in those times. Every debate mattered. Every feeling that a person had, even if it was valid or not valid, it mattered. And now we get the sense that this is the RMC.
